Club Races

Be on the lookout for the TriRochester tent at races this season.  We will set up the tent in an area convenient for both athletes and spectators. You can bring a chair or blanket, drop off your bag and then come hang out after you cross the finish line. Our plan is to have a “host” for the race, a person who is not racing who can help club members with race prep, getting results, and taking pictures.  We will start with Trinona, Rochesterfest, and Chisago and then decide what late-season races to send the tent to. If you can be a host for a particular race, please contact our membership coordinator, Pattie.

On the member survey last year we asked "In addition to our hometown RochesterFest race, what race you would like to see TriRochester have a club focus on?"  Two races got a lot of votes: Trinona and Chisago.  In light of that we are going to increase our presence and boost the club atmosphere at these races.  We are also planning to provide additional refreshments for the club after these races, so whether you are spectating or racing plan to come hang out afterward.

2012 Member Logo Gear

Okay, the 2012 member logo gear item is no longer TBD!

With our current selection, we have you covered from head to about knee.  So for this year, we complete the head-to-toe look with TriRochester Socks.  We are having custom woven cycling socks made with the club logo.  If you selected this for 2012, you'll get 2 pair!

Monthly Social

Join TriRochester members this Thursday night (January 26th) at Glynner's Pub at 6:00 p.m. for our monthly social event. Remember club members get 2 for 1 drinks plus $1 off appetizers and entrees. Feel free to bring spouses, significant others, friends, kids, etc... Come out and enjoy a great selection of cold brews, good food, and of course good conversation among club members!

For those who have registered for 2012 and selected a Hat, T-shirt, or Water bottle, we will have those available for you to pick up. Those who selected the TBD item, it is, well, TBD and so not available yet.

This gathering is open to all club members and non-club members, maybe you're interested in learning what the club is about and meeting some people with interests in multi-sport... Come, ask questions, and socialize with us!

New Discounts

We are pleased to announce a couple of 2012 TriRochester discounts on race entries.  Members, check the forum for discount information.

Photo Contest

How would you like to score one of those great TriRochester water bottles for FREE?  Here's how you can.  We are looking for photos to use on the website -- specifically photos with lots of TriRochester logos.  Send them in and if you have the most, you will win!

Here are the details:

• Photos must be of reasonable quality and suitable for publishing on the website.
• You do NOT have to be in the photo, or have to have taken the photo.  (Possession is nine-tenths, right?)
• Panoramas are ok, but NO stitching together different photos to boost the number of logos.
• We will count the number of visible TriRochester logos in the photo and the person submitting the photo with the most will win.
• In the event of a tie, the photo received first will win.
• Photos must be received by Friday 1/27/12.  Send them to web@trirochester.com
